Winter Wonderland
What Happened Last Night is that I went down to that temporary North Pole Bar to see what it was like - and to have myself a couple of free cocktails on their opening night, naturally. It looks nice from the outside - big pointy tent thing: 
Nice wintry feel with cool blue lighting, pine trees and friendly girls with clipboards and furry hats. Inside it's...well...a tent with a bar in it:

Other than that it's...a bar in a tent. I've said that. What else? Oh yes, the drinks. The mulled wine was nice. The crumble cocktails were nice and, surprisingly, actually taste like crumble. Only they're drinkable. And alcoholic. Which is nice. What isn't so nice is a concoction they're touting as 'brandy butter' which is, perhaps not suprisingly, brandy mixed with butter. Melted butter. That you're meant to drink. Disgusting.
